The Pillars of Practice
Building strong foundations provides us with a base. From here it is possible to develop further and express your potential upon the foundations you have created. Strength and resistance training have carryover beyond the mat, with longevity in daily life and aging as we grow older, whilst maintaining muscle mass and even benefiting your bone density.

STRENGTH FOUNDATIONS
Skills practice is unique. It blends the development of specific strength and depends on finding the balance in your programming to include the drills and exercises that truly work. Finding the right intensity and increasing the number of practice sessions in a week can be helpful.
In skills work, you may find yourself practicing little and often.
SKILLS PRACTICE
Across movement disciplines, whether strict and dogmatic or quite abstract, there are shared themes. Drawing on these external influences, we may learn how to look at movement from a fresh perspective.
Explore and develop new techniques and approaches, finding the things that resonate with you and compliment your practice
BEYOND PRACTICE
Targeted flexibility drills can be programmed almost like strength training and progress can be made alongside your usual routine.
Breaking your goals and shapes down into their component parts and identifying which areas to focus on will be key here

Do I need Experience?
No - We can work together to improve and make progress towards your goals whether no matter what your level or starting point
What equipment do I need?
Whilst access to training equipment can add layers to your training, your program will be completely tailored to you and what you have available. You do not need to train in a gym in order to make progress
What about injuries?
Share as much as you feel comfortable with about your injury history - we can create a plan to work around any limitations and take steps towards recovery

How does coaching work?
After you sign up, we start with an assessment phase with your goals in mind. You get a tailored program, app access, exercise video library and a place to leave and receive video and written feedback
What should I expect from a video call or face to face meeting?
This one is up to you - in terms of logistics, a WhatsApp or Google meet video call. Calls may last up to 45 minutes if required. We can talk and run through questions or figure things out as you actually train - usually, it is a mix of both
When can I make contact?
Anytime! The feedback loop is always open. When working normally I aim to communicate everyday. When working away I aim to communicate and reply to messages Monday, Wednesday and Friday. When on holiday I aim to prepare you for the training ahead

We need an App?
Yes, I currently use TrueCoach which can be downloaded on app stores or used in a web browser. There, you can easily record exercise progress and upload videos for feedback.
When will I see results?
Change happens everyday. However, progress towards your goal depends on your starting point, consistency in practice, and in this case, can be further supported with communication and feedback. Progress is long term.

All progress requires action - if you are motivated to train, we can work together to make it happen.

How much do you charge?
Rates are as follows;
Monthly £95 - This rate includes an initial monthly video session. Reduced rate of £270 is available for 3 month payments - just ask for the payment link. Period starts after assessment phase.
What is the cancellation policy?
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is based on monthly rolling contract. Please provide one months notice for cancellation on either monthly or quarterly payments
